As part of my Lighting Design course we worked on luxury hotel suites that carried through a design style or movement of our choosing. With a fellow interior designer, we created a space that was inspired by the 1910s to 1920s with emphasis on the Art Deco movement. To exemplify this era, layered lighting was used, as well as deep, rich colors, geometric forms, and luxurious materials, such as marble.
